During discussion, Chair Grommert said she would vote no, calling the program "not a good use of our funds considering park and rec is already yearly being underfunded for maintenance." Mayor Scribe said she had voted against an earlier iteration but added, "if it did pass, I'd be very supportive for it on the execution," and said she reviewed the contract and found it fair.
The council recorded its count by voice and hand-raise; the meeting transcript shows the chair announcing a count and then stating "2 against and then an abstention." The contract motion was approved during the meeting.
