The court voted to approve the McGregor Lane development agreement, a 145‑acre project in Precinct 3 that will create 487 lots with a mix of 50‑, 60‑, 70‑ and 125‑foot lots and design standards the county described as upgraded. "We're designing the full roadways," the developer’s representative, Dean Rasmussen of WGA, told the court, adding that the project includes detention ponds and measures intended to avoid increasing downstream flows.
Residents asked where discharge will ultimately flow; county staff and the developer said drainage and traffic studies had been submitted and reviewed by outside engineers and the drainage district, and that the developer will work with neighbors and the district on easements and maintenance. The developer estimated home prices at least $350,000 to about $500,000 for larger lots and said the school district to the north has purchased adjacent property and will be a neighbor to the project. The court approved the agreement after discussion and public questions.
