OVCA approves CareerTech course approvals and photography showcase funding

The Oklahoma Virtual Charter Academy board voted unanimously June 9 to approve mathematics and science courses taken at CareerTech during the 2026–27 school year. The motion was made by Carla Maloy and seconded by Dr. Priscilla Griffith.
Separately, the board approved using McNeese Memorial Funds to support an OVCA Student Photography Showcase and to establish an annual reward. Dr. Priscilla Griffith made the motion and Carla Maloy seconded; the vote was unanimous. The minutes do not include dollar amounts for the fund allocation.
