Paul Woodard (Schlegel) said revisions moved 181st Terrace approximately 120 linear feet to facilitate future connections without conflicting with already‑platted lots. Staff noted the plat keeps the same 87‑lot count and adds two open space tracks. Neighbour Greg Hart asked several technical questions about density, the potential extension of 183rd Street and whether culverts under his driveway would be replaced. Staff and the applicant confirmed that culverts would be replaced and that the lot count remains within the city’s low‑density category (about 2 units per acre). "The original Woodmire plat had 87 lots. This plat also has 87 lots," staff said, reaffirming density consistency.
Commissioners approved the preliminary plat (motion passed 9–0) and later the related final plat for the phase (motion passed 9–0). Staff will provide the neighbor with county wastewater (Johnson County) contact information for sewer‑district questions and continue coordination on culvert replacement and drainage implementation.
