Mayor Bob Jarvis told the Council that a request for night work on Main Street to mark lanes was denied. He reported that "Shelly & Sands" used a vibrating pavement roller on village streets after KEM had asked them not to, and that usage resulted in a broken water line that the Water Department patched by Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Jarvis said he contacted the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), which arrived within the hour and "will be covering all cost overages."
Jarvis also told the Council the Plymouth Street sidewalk and crosswalk project has been moved to summer 2028. He reminded members to take care with Sunshine Law compliance in council communications.
