• 2nd amendment to the Pierce purchase-and-sale agreement (lease/access revisions to allow tank removal and a compensation payment to cover tenant disruption) — motion moved by a committee member and passed unanimously. Staff cited a specific payment total of $6,516 to cover one week of lost use, labor and gravel.
• Revocable license with Tradition Trees, Inc. for temporary storage at 12155 Irvendale Way — motion moved and passed unanimously.
• Contract awards for tank removal and environmental compliance: GeoHydro Engineers ($179,200), Scott Hitch Law ($20,000), and a 10% contingency ($19,920) for a total of $219,120 — motion moved by a committee member, seconded and passed unanimously.
The Chair noted buyer Grey Star Vantage agreed to reimburse 50% of the remediation costs at closing; he also cautioned that DDA funds and earnest money remain at risk if the transaction does not close by the board’s contractual deadline of Dec. 15, 2025.
