Board introduces Logan Brooks as new Weaver High head football coach

After the board approved personnel actions that included the hire, Logan Brooks introduced himself to the board and attendees and thanked the hiring committee, administrators and his family. "I can't tell you how honored I am to be the new head football coach at Weaver High School," Brooks said, adding that he and his wife were excited to join the Weber community following the birth of their second daughter this week.

Brooks outlined his coaching priorities, saying the program will be "built on relationships, discipline, and accountability" and that he intends to move quickly to meet players and families. Board members welcomed him and congratulated him on the hire; Mr. Willis and others noted the district's appreciation for incoming coaches and staff. The hire was among several personnel actions approved under tab 4.
