Godwin emphasized that not all bids are in and costs may change, telling the board "we'll take our capital outlay funds that we have, and then we'll pair it with that advancement in technology allocation that we're getting this year" and that some projects will require careful selection as state PSCA funds wind down. The board later approved a superintendent recommendation allowing district logos on baseball and softball turf projects as part of routine action items.
