Councilor Walker requested an update on outstanding court and parking-ticket issues. Law Director Costa Mastros said his assistant had completed a rewrite of the ordinance and that he and City Manager Jim Mavromatis had at least one review meeting. "I don't know if the revisions are done, but I'll report. I'll get you an answer next week, see where that is," Mastros said.
No ordinance text was read or adopted at the Sept. 16 meeting; Mastros committed to returning with the status of the rewrite and any outstanding legal or procedural steps required to implement changes. Council offered no other motions on this item during the meeting.
