At the Jan. 2 organizational meeting, Clerk of Council Joan Kemper announced that certificates of election had been received for officials elected Nov. 4, 2025. Those named included Paul A. Kumar (mayor), Sarah Burns Meyer (council at-large), Steve Swadarski (Ward 1), Lydia DeGeorge (Ward 2), Michael Greco (Ward 3) and Daniel Redick (Ward 4).
Kemper told the council the inauguration occurred Dec. 30 at 4:45 p.m. in the council chambers and that Judge Brian Hagen administered the oath of office. The announcement provided formal notice to the council and public about the successful conclusion of the recent municipal election.
