Cedar Hill trustees told CCMR at 89% (2024) and staff warn College Bridge vendor rules may change

Dr. Camille Gamel and the academics team told trustees the districtrecorded 89% of the class of 2024 meeting at least one CCMR indicator, a figure used in 2025 accountability reporting.
"Currently, from the class of 2024, 89 percent of our scholars met an indicator for college readiness," Dr. Gamel said, noting the accountability data lags the graduating class. She added the district's internal, unofficial tracking placed the class of 2025 at roughly 95% on CCMR measures.
Administrators warned the state is reviewing eligibility for some vendor-supplied College Bridge coursework and staff said they will report CCMR both including and excluding College Bridge so the board can see likely changes. "College Bridge has not been approved, and it does not look like any of the vendors that have submitted are going to be approved," Dr. Gamel said.
Courtney Jackson, counseling services with CCMR, told trustees Collegiate High School students currently lack access to many industry-certification pathways but that the district plans to promote Level 1 and Level 2 certification programs through Dallas College for current ninth-graders. "We will have certification programs at Collegiate," Jackson said.
Trustees asked staff to prepare parent-facing materials that explain what a "completer" is under the new rules and to provide a one-page pathway description of certification levels and testing requirements. Administration said a pathway one-pager already exists and will be promoted to families.
Board members did not vote; staff said additional CCMR details and AP/SAT/dual-credit breakdowns will come in future reports.
