Murphy also summarized facilities matters: two new buildings—the Tobin and Darby Vassal schools—opened and a ceremonial event is planned for Oct. 18; roof repairs at the HSEP building began late and were paused during the first week of school, and the administration is prepared to temporarily relocate HSEP students to Spring Street if noise from repairs proves too disruptive. "If it's too noisy, we will have to move them," Murphy said, but he added there was "no basis at this time to believe that there are safety related concerns."
