Committee reviews MSI award history, encourages Stockbridge and to notify villages next in line

MSI Chair Chris Marx reviewed the program’s award history and identified the Village of Potter, Village of Sherwood and Village of Hilbert as next in line for funding if they have projects that meet MSI requirements. Because representatives from those villages were not present at the organizational meeting, Marx and Commissioner Scheinoha encouraged the Village of Stockbridge to bring a project to be considered and requested county staff outreach to the next-in-line villages.
Commissioner Scheinoha said he will reach out to Potter, Sherwood and Hilbert prior to the next meeting to inform them of the funding possibility and the application review scheduled for Oct. 27. This outreach is intended to ensure municipalities aware of their position on the award list have the opportunity to apply.
