Commissioner Chad Scheinoha led discussion about committee membership for the 2026–2027 MSI cycle and confirmed that, counting the newly elected Chair Chris Marx, five municipal representatives would serve on the committee. Because the City of Kiel’s primary funding county was unclear, the City of Kiel was excluded from the initial membership until Scheinoha confirms the county alignment.
The meeting record states that the remaining four municipal representatives present (besides the chair) would serve on the committee. Commissioner Scheinoha said he will confirm Kiel’s county status before the next meeting and reach out to the Villages of Potter, Sherwood and Hilbert about possible eligible projects.
