DDA authorizes second amendment to Greystar purchase agreement to cover environmental work

The DDA approved a second amendment to the Greystar purchase-and-sale agreement to incorporate engineering and legal work for environmental cleanup on the Pierce property; the amendment adds the approved GeoHydro engineering proposal and the Hitch Law environmental legal amount.
Staff said the second amendment to the purchase-and-sale agreement with Greystar Development East, LLC is primarily an administrative update to include previously approved environmental work. Ashley, representing community engagement/planning staff, told the board the amendment incorporates the approved GeoHydro engineers proposal and the approved amount for Hitch Law to handle environmental legal matters related to the Pierce property. "So essentially all this does is kind of cleans up on the Greystar side the environmental work for the Pierce property that you all approved at the special called meeting in August," Ashley said.
Board members moved to authorize the chair to sign the second amendment; the motion passed unanimously. Staff said counsel will finalize paperwork and the chair will execute the amendment consistent with the board’s prior special-called meeting approvals.
