Deputy Summer Davis led a detailed briefing on the district's Cognia accreditation engagement review, explaining the district self-assessment process based on 31 standards and the required evidence portfolio. She said the engagement review visit was performed remotely on February 9 and that the district submitted its executive summary and evidence in early January for the review team to examine in advance.
Davis said the review team returned positive feedback and that the official engagement review report will be issued in about 30 to 45 days. "Our visit, which, of course, like I said, is a digital Zoom meeting, was February 9," she told the board, and noted the team's feedback included only two suggested areas for improvement. The superintendent thanked staff and administrators for compiling evidence and organizing stakeholder surveys used in the review.
