He described staff development measures such as administrative and peer observations, peer‑to‑peer coaching cycles, a classroom‑observation framework and tighter enforcement of attendance policies. To combat chronic absenteeism he proposed community partnerships with local businesses to incentivize good attendance and discussed a "no‑fly list" to reduce unauthorized hall roaming and keep students in class.
Assistant Superintendent Genoveva Lopez‑Angelo introduced the presentation and emphasized staff development and attendance as core priorities. The board discussed the plan and next steps for monitoring progress.
