Auditors visited; water-quality notice mailed; Arbor Day tree plantings planned

City Administrator Steve announced Arbor Day activities: the city issued a proclamation April 22 and, as a Tree City USA community, will host a planting. "They've donated $1,300 worth of trees," he said of the Presentation Sisters who have contributed trees for plantings near the new park pavilion; staff scheduled a planting event for May 14 at 1 p.m. The council received both reports as informational items and moved on to other business.
