At the Oct. 27 selection meeting, committee members reviewed three TRI Discretionary (TRID) candidate projects and evaluated them on four stated criteria: safety, reconstruction, traffic volume and comprehensive planning. After discussion, Joe Kuhn moved and Mark Wunrow seconded a motion to prioritize the projects with Charlestown's Irish Road at the top, followed by Stockbridge's Hill Road and Brothertown's S. Washington Road; the motion carried unanimously.
The three projects considered were: Town of Charlestown ' Irish Rd (Bancroft Rd to Peil Rd to town limits), Town of Stockbridge ' Hill Rd (STH 55 to Vans Rd) and Town of Brothertown ' S. Washington Rd (St Charles Rd to CTH H). Minutes note that the committee applied the four criteria to evaluate and rank the projects for the discretionary funding list. Because projects submitted for TRID are automatically submitted for TRI Supplemental (TRIS), there were no separate TRIS prioritization requests at this meeting.
