At its Jan. 5 meeting the Avon Civil Service Commission certified an updated Laborer Eligibility List following an administrative report from Recording Secretary Diane Szlempa.
Ms. Szlempa told the commission that no new names were added, one candidate was hired and five names expired and were removed from the list. Commissioner Alan Wojciechowski moved to approve the updated Laborer Eligibility List; Bill Greaney seconded and the motion passed unanimously, 3-0.
The certification updates the available candidate pool for laborer positions; no hiring actions were announced at the meeting.
