Mr. Tony Egner recapped the Fire Committee meeting and congratulated the firefighters and paramedics honored that night. Mr. Edward Whitt thanked Chief Lindsay and Harrison police officers for a quick response to a theft at Mr. Whitt's locally owned business, noting merchandise was recovered and the suspect apprehended within 24 hours. Mr. Tanner Dole congratulated Kenny Fohl on his retirement after 31 years of service and noted he looks forward to serving on the OKI board of directors; he also announced the next Tech and Media meeting date. Mrs. Patty Van Cleve said the Economic Development steering committee will meet to finalize the comprehensive plan and expects a public presentation in a couple of months. Mrs. Jean Wilson reported that work on the splash pad at the community center is progressing and that a new digital sign is up on Harrison Avenue; she also listed local fish-fry fundraisers and a VFW fundraiser benefiting Pathways.
