Highland Heights council elects D'Amico president, appoints Kelly Pattison as clerk

At its Jan. 6 organizational meeting the Highland Heights City Council administered oaths to new members, appointed Kelly Pattison as Clerk of Council and elected Ann D'Amico as Council President and Mr. DeLisio as Council President Pro-Tem.
The Highland Heights City Council on Jan. 6 administered the oath of office to Council Representatives Ann D'Amico, Sean Milroy and Bill Morton and moved swiftly to establish its leadership for the coming term. Mayor Chuck Brunello presided and said the council and department heads have "made a strong investment in our community" and intend to "continue doing great things for the City in 2026."
The council appointed Kelly Pattison as Clerk of Council after a motion by Mr. Goff and a second from Mr. DiLalla; the motion carried with all members recorded as voting in favor. Ann D'Amico was nominated for the two-year term of Council President; a roll-call vote resulted in all members responding "D'Amico," electing her to the post. Mr. DeLisio was nominated and elected as Council President Pro-Tem in a subsequent roll-call in which all members recorded "DeLisio."
The organizational meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn from Mr. DiLalla, seconded by Mr. Goff; the motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 7:11 p.m. The council roster recorded present that evening included Representatives D'Amico, DeLisio, DiLalla, Ganser, Goff, Milroy and Morton, along with Mayor Brunello and department heads.
