Board Administrator Michael Tarr used the Jan. 16 meeting to give administrative reminders and preview a proposed delegation order. Tarr reminded members to arrive 15 minutes early if attending remotely to confirm audio and visual connections and asked them to submit certificates of completion for FOAA training to him.
Tarr said he will work with Assistant Attorney General Katie Warwick on drafting a delegation order to present to the board; the proposed order would allow board staff to review applicants’ conviction histories and, when convictions fall outside specified disciplinary parameters or time frames, to approve applications administratively. The minutes record this as a staff action in development; no formal delegation order was adopted at the Jan. 16 meeting.
