Two Megabucks winners share $4.2 million; Maine Lottery reports year‑to‑date sales gains and approves six new games

Lottery sales figures through the FY26 reporting period showed draw sales of $74,606,055 (FY26) vs. $57,712,988 (FY25), an increase of $16,893,067 (+29.27%). Fast Play sales were $15,974,533 FY26 vs. $17,761,138 FY25 (down 10.06%); Instant sales were $268,463,315 FY26 vs. $261,878,912 FY25 (up 2.51%). Total combined sales for FY26 were $359,043,903, up $21,690,865 (+6.43%) from FY25.
Calvin Rinck, Lottery Marketing Manager, presented six new games for approval: (2) Pumpkin Spice Payout; (3) Wild Bingo; (3) Loteria; (5) $100,000 Payday Doubler; (5) Find $500!; and (20) $50,000 Fortune. Commissioner Julie Sheehan moved to accept the games as presented; Commissioner John Schneck seconded and the Commission approved the package unanimously on a roll call vote.
The Commission also received profit-transfer figures: April actual profit transfer to the General Fund was reported at $6,737,544 for FY26; YTD profit transfer was $69,170,940 (up $4,670,940 to budget). Transfers to the Outdoor Heritage Fund were also reported but were under budget year-to-date.
