Board tables two LADC applications pending additional documentation

At its Jan. 16 meeting the Board of Alcohol & Drug Counselors tabled two initial LADC applications for additional documentation.
The board tabled Tiffany Manson’s application and directed staff to request course descriptions or syllabi and clarification on whether the applicant completed the full 2,000 supervised hours required. The motion to table was made by Laurence Gross, seconded by Darlene Panzino, and passed 3-0.
Separately, the board tabled Benji Berry’s application and directed staff to request a letter of recommendation or good-character reference from one supervisor/employer and one personal reference. That motion, also moved by Laurence Gross and seconded by Darlene Panzino, passed 3-0. The board will revisit both applications after staff collects the requested materials.
