Former trustee urges Stafford MSD to hold town hall so community can meet new superintendent

Former trustee Joe Longoria used his public‑comment time to ask the board to place an item on a future agenda to hold a community town hall for Dr. Adam Stevens. Longoria said the meeting should be well advertised and include parents, local business leaders and others who might otherwise be unable to attend, so the community can hear Dr. Stevens’ philosophy and ask questions.
Longoria said the town hall should let residents "get a feel for his way of thinking, how he's gonna take this district ahead," and urged the board to schedule and properly publicize the event. The president acknowledged the request and said future business would be addressed at the next meeting because they could not take future business at this meeting.
