Northeast Delta Dental presented its semi-annual dental plan report covering May 1, 2025–April 30, 2026. The vendor said there were approximately 26,303 covered lives and $7,677,545 in claims paid across 51,392 claims, yielding an average cost per employee per month of $45.72. Delta Dental reported network discounts that produced roughly $11 million in savings compared with billed amounts.
Delta Dental described oral-wellness risk stratification: 38% of members were low risk, 21% moderate risk and 11% high risk; 7,009 members received no care during the reporting period. The presentation noted that HOW® (Health Through Oral Wellness) Clinical Risk Assessments increased (10,724 assessments performed) and that most qualified members received enhanced benefits under the program.
