During boards and commissions reports, S6 summarized actions from the Board of Control’s Jan. 12 meeting. The board approved a $757,492 payment from the waterline fund and capital project fund for the Lehi 223rd Street waterline and paving project; the item was described as a rebid with work expected to begin in the spring. The motion passed 5‑0.
S6 also reported approval of a $15,900 payment to OHM Company from the Capital Projects Fund 811 for additional engineering on the Mastic Road and Valley Pathway project. S6 said the additional costs are associated with right‑of‑way issues and compliance with ODOT rules; the motion was approved 5‑0.
S6 indicated Megan Iyer, assistant development director, was present for the Board of Control meeting and provided project details. The council did not take further action tonight on these payments beyond the board approvals reported to the council.
