Trustees and staff explained that medallions denote students who met TSI college-ready standards and that cords mark other future‑ready indicators.
Students came forward to receive diplomas and pose with board members for photographs. Student Brandon Flores offered brief remarks thanking a close friend for support during his journey: "She's helped me through a lot… I couldn't be more thankful." The ceremony concluded with a group photograph of graduates and trustees and a five‑minute transition into the board meeting.
