During the March 5 meeting the Board considered correspondence items and exam-administration requests. On a motion by Eric Norberg, seconded by Samantha Emmons, the Board voted to approve Robert Gebhard a sixth attempt at the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Exam (MPJE). The recorded vote showed Abdifatah Ahmed and Edward Kane in favor, Bradley Hamilton opposed and Nicholas Haar abstaining; Timothy McCormack was absent.
On correspondence the Board decided no further action was needed on emails from a member of the public regarding Midcoast Pharmacy and declined action on a fee-exemption request from Novo Nordisk. A motion by Bradley Hamilton to table the election of officers was seconded by Ahmed and carried. The meeting adjourned at 12:01 p.m. on a motion by Hamilton, seconded by Ahmed.
Next steps: staff will implement the Board’s direction on correspondence and process the approved MPJE attempt per OPOR procedures.
