At its May 18 meeting the Counseling Professionals, Board of Licensure dismissed complaint 2025-COU-20686 after finding insufficient evidence of a violation (motion by Ellen Grunblatt; seconded by Lisa-Ann Henry). The minutes record the vote as 3 in favor with two members recused (Holly Cavna and Joanne Grant).
Separately, the Board moved to set complaint 2025-COU-21002 for an adjudicatory hearing and to offer a consent agreement under Board rules Chapter 8‑A 2(1)(A) (Client Relationship). The consent-agreement option included a reprimand and surrender of the license; the Board amended the motion to require a psychological or neuropsychological assessment to be reviewed by the Board before any license reinstatement and authorized the Vice Chair to sign the consent agreement. The amended motion passed 5–0 with one abstention recorded by Holly Cavna.
