Committee removes Amp Live Productions from calendar, waives stall fees for high school rodeo

The Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee voted unanimously Jan. 8 to remove Amp Live Productions from the arena reservation calendar after the producer failed to respond to town staff.
Scot Tibbits moved to remove Amp Live Productions from the calendar; Darius Mann seconded. The motion passed 5-0. Committee member Darius Mann asked that Courtney Kenney inform Amp Live Productions that if the producer seeks another reservation, they must attend a meeting in person or via Zoom before the committee will consider a new vote.
In a separate motion during the same agenda item, Scot Tibbits moved to remove stall fees for the upcoming high school rodeo on Feb. 6–8, 2026, citing that stalls were previously voted to be torn down at the Dec. 2025 meeting; Shane Chapman seconded and the motion passed 5-0. The minutes record the motions and outcomes but contain no public comment on the decisions.
