The Board of Licensure of Architects, Landscape Architects and Interior Designers on March 17, 2026 voted to set complaint 2025-ARC-20990 for hearing and to offer a consent agreement related to alleged violations of Chapter 17 Sections 4(1), 4(2) and 5(1).
Vice Chair Mark Johnson moved the motion to set the matter for hearing; Complaint Officer R. Michael Pullen seconded. Johnson, Member Kristen Damuth and Chair Cinderella Norris voted in the affirmative; Pullen abstained and the motion carried.
In a separate motion at the same meeting, the Board approved sanctions proposed for the matter. The sanctions specified a reprimand; a civil penalty of $1,500 for each violation for an aggregate civil penalty of $4,500; and a requirement that the respondent complete no fewer than 10 hours of continuing education in Project Development & Documentation relating to Building System, Material Selection, and Assemblies. Those education hours must be approved in advance by the complaint officer and completed within 120 days. The motion was made by Johnson and seconded by Damuth; Johnson, Damuth and Norris voted yes and Pullen abstained.
The board record does not list a hearing date in the minutes; the complaint was formally set for hearing and a consent agreement was offered as part of that process. Next procedural steps will be governed by the complaint officer and the board's formal hearing procedures.
