The Board of Complementary Health Care Providers elected Sarah Ackerly as chair and selected other officers during its Jan. 7, 2026 meeting. CherylAnn Sarton moved to nominate Sarah Ackerly as Board Chair, seconded by Anne C. Jacobs; the motion carried with Ackerly, Deborah Moskowitz, Maureen Perdue and Elizabeth Winter voting in favor and two members absent.
The board also voted to name CherylAnn Sarton vice chair after a motion by Elizabeth Winter, and approved Ana (Anne) C. Jacobs as the Naturopathic Complaint Officer and Elizabeth Winter as the Certified Professional Midwives Complaint Officer. The board tabled election of an Acupuncturist Complaint Officer to a future meeting. Motions were recorded as moved and seconded in the minutes and reflected standard roll‑call results.
