Board approves Workforce CE course, tables !EXPERTCE NEC update and asks provider to revise exam questions

The Electricians' Examining Board voted to approve a continuing education application from Workforce Continuing Education & Development, LLC for an NFPA 70 — National Electrical Code (NEC) 2023 course. Brian McDougal moved to approve the application; Chuck Daigle seconded and the motion carried 5–0.
Separately the board tabled the !EXPERTCE 15-hour NEC update course. Chuck Daigle moved to table that application and the board instructed staff to speak with the provider about amending the examination questions so they are "more centered around common code violations from the boards adopted rules and changes with the code." The motion to table passed 5–0.
