Board approves applicants to sit for journeyman and master exams, credits experience

The Electricians' Examining Board approved several examination applications during the Feb. 20 meeting. Brian McDougal moved to allow Zachery Russell to sit for the Journeyman examination, credit Russell with 4,000 hours of work experience and recommend 4,000 hours of NEC experience before issuing a license; Chuck Daigle seconded. The motion carried 5–0.
The board also accepted the work experience and education submitted by Ryan Howard and allowed him to sit for the Master examination (motion by Brian McDougal; second Chuck Daigle), and accepted Samuel Lazowski's experience and education and allowed him to sit for the Journeyman exam (motion by Chuck Daigle; second Brian McDougal). Both motions passed 5–0. These approvals authorize the applicants to proceed to the examinations required for licensure.
