Board preliminarily denies two individual applications, approves April minutes

The Maine Board of Pharmacy approved its April 2, 2026 meeting minutes and took action on two initial individual licensure applications during its May 7 virtual meeting.

Bradley Hamilton moved to approve the April minutes; Nicholas Haar seconded. The minutes were recorded as approved with Abdifatah Ahmed, Samantha Emmons, Edward Kane, Timothy McCormack and Eric Norberg explicitly recorded as in favor. Later in the meeting, Timothy McCormack moved to preliminarily deny the initial application for Tara Hansen (PT60020677) and to offer a consent agreement requiring disclosure of a prior conviction to employers; the motion carried with the named members recorded as in favor. Hamilton moved to preliminarily deny Jessica Wood (PT60020545) for lack of responsiveness to the board’s request for additional information, offering the applicant the option to withdraw; the motion also carried with the named members recorded as in favor.

The meeting minutes record motions and the named members who affirmed them; any further procedural steps (consent-agreement drafting, appeals, or formal denial notices) will follow Board staff processes. These actions were recorded under routine licensure and governance business and do not include additional sanctions beyond the proposed consent agreement for the Hansen matter.
