Maine Board of Pharmacy approves minutes, issues and preliminarily denies multiple licenses

The Maine Board of Pharmacy convened April 2, 2026, approved amended minutes from March 5, 2026, and took a series of licensure actions covering individual and company applicants.
Nicholas Haar moved to approve the March 5 minutes with an amendment; Bradley Hamilton seconded. The motion carried with Edward Kane, Timothy McCormack, Bradley Hamilton, Samantha Emmons, Abdifatah Ahmed, Nicholas Haar and Eric Norberg recorded as in favor. The board then considered dozens of licensure filings. The board voted to issue initial individual licenses including Michele Chase (PT60020571), Adriana Schwendt (PR5462) and Monica Bean (PT60020588). Several initial applications were preliminarily denied for lack of responsiveness to the board’s requests for additional information; examples recorded include Heather Cook (PT60018604), Agnes Lindsay (PT60020470), Sarah Simon (PT60020472), Abigail Elwell-Connors (PT60020496) and Abdullah Sami (PT60020495).
On company applications the board issued approvals for California Specialty Pharmacy (MO40003784), Dentsply North America, LLC (WH70003631, WH70003632) and Merz North America Inc (MF30002304). Pharmacy Corporation of America (MO40003801) was preliminarily denied for lack of responsiveness. Individual motions and seconders were recorded for each item; vote tallies appeared in the minutes for every action.
