RUSO Board accepts external audit and approves transitional audits by Crawford & Associates

The Board accepted the RUSO Administrative Office external audit by Forvis Mazars and approved transitional audit reports and additional transitional audits by Crawford & Associates covering several former university officials.
At its April 9 meeting the Regional University System of Oklahoma Board voted to accept the RUSO Administrative Office external audit conducted by Forvis Mazars and to accept several transitional audit reports performed by Crawford & Associates.
Regent Susan Winchester, reporting for the Audit and Finance Committee, moved to accept the external audit and the board approved the motion unanimously. The board also accepted transitional audit reports for former university officials at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and approved retention of Crawford & Associates to perform additional transitional audits (including for former Southwestern Oklahoma State University officials). Motions were moved by Regent Winchester and seconded by Regent Ford and carried unanimously.
Winchester also presented informational purchase reports and a summary of committee items including financial reporting and university purchases; the committee directed staff to continue reporting audit and financial information to the Regents per RUSO policies.
