Plano ISD introduces Joni Harris as director of learning and media services

Kristen Hebert, executive director of secondary academics, introduced Joni Harris as the district’s new director of learning and media services. Hebert noted Harris’s collaborative leadership and said she will support libraries, media integration and student learning across campuses. Harris attended the meeting with family; Hebert also acknowledged Harris’s service and the district welcomed her to the team.
Next steps: Harris will assume the duties described in the district announcement and staff said they will share details about resources and plans for library/media services as implementation continues.
