Council approves bandwidth, processing and disposal contracts and fees

At its Jan. 20 meeting, Wadsworth City Council approved several operational contracts and vendor payments. Ordinance No. 26-008 authorizes a contract with Everstream Solutions, LLC to provide bandwidth to support CityLink operations; Ordinance No. 26-009 does the same for Cogent Communications, LLC. Council also approved Ordinance No. 26-010 to remit credit-card processing fees to Tyler Technologies, Inc., Ordinance No. 26-011 to pay Peregrine Services, Inc. for postage and mailing of utility bills, and Ordinance No. 26-012 to pay tipping and generation fees to the Medina County Solid Waste District to continue disposal services. Each ordinance was adopted after suspension of the three-reading rule and recorded unanimous roll-call votes.
The ordinances were discussed previously at the Public Service Committee on Jan. 13 and were sponsored by Council Member Tom Stugmyer and Zach Berger as noted in the record. Contract values and fee amounts were not specified in the meeting transcript.
