Wadsworth City Council on Jan. 20 advanced Ordinance No. 26-002, which proposes the allocation of $4,767,961.00 in income-tax receipts during fiscal year 2026, to second reading. The motion to move the ordinance was made by Council Member Mike Reese and seconded by Jon Yurchiak; an all-in-favor voice vote moved the measure forward.
Council did not take final action on the ordinance at the Jan. 20 meeting; moving to second reading schedules further deliberation and a subsequent vote. The allocation amount and the ordinance language were read into the record by the Clerk of Council during the legislative reading portion of the meeting.
