Sevier County Board approves bid, field trips, facility uses and leave requests in unanimous votes
Summary
On March 9 the Sevier County Board of Education approved a Tire Carousel bid and granted approval for field trips, facility use and employee leave requests; all motions passed 5–0 and the meeting was adjourned.
During new business on March 9 the Sevier County Board of Education approved a series of routine operational items by unanimous vote. Charles Ogle moved to approve the Tire Carousel bid (moved and seconded as recorded); the board approved the bid 5–0. The minutes do not include the vendor name or dollar amount for the bid.
The board also approved requested field trips, granted requests for use of district facilities and approved leave requests for staff; each was moved and seconded and each motion passed by a 5–0 vote. With no further business, Board Chairman Mike Oakley adjourned the meeting. The minutes record the next scheduled meeting as Monday, April 13, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. in the T. Mack Sharpe Board Room.
