FRENSHIP ISD outlines annual report and Willow Bend targeted improvement plan

The Frenship ISD board opened a public hearing on the district annual report and the targeted improvement plan for Willow Bend campus. Amish Stroop presented the contents of the "800 plus" report, describing sections that cover the Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR/STAAR performance), PEIMS financial reporting, accreditation status, campus improvement plans, and college, career and military readiness indicators.
"In this 800 plus report, you will notice that there are 8 different sections that I will go over this evening," Stroop said, and she told trustees the districts TAPR data, attendance and graduation figures, and CCMR results are included and that the full report will be posted on the district and campus websites after the meeting. Stroop also described Willow Bends targeted improvement plan: TEA officials conducted classroom visits and provided a diagnostic that Willow Bend used with instructional leaders to build milestones focused on high‑quality curriculum, assessment and progress monitoring, professional learning and intensive coaching.
Lindsay Littlefield, identified in the meeting as Willow Bends principal, was present for the discussion; Stroop said the campus began many milestones before the state released the accountability ratings and will continue progress monitoring and refinements through the school year.
