Frenship High football players honored for academic all-state recognitions; senior commits to Abilene Christian

Eighteen Frenship High student-athletes earned academic all-state honors and one senior, Hudson Page, announced a college commitment to Abilene Christian University during the board recognition.
The Frenship High varsity football program was honored by the district for combined athletic and academic success: 18 players received academic recognition and several players earned regional and state honors.
Head coach Jay Northcutt thanked the board and said many athletes balance high academic standards and extracurricular commitments. Northcutt highlighted individual honorees, listing honorable mentions and first- and second-team selections, and said two players (Troy Thompson and Jack Palmer) achieved near-perfect SAT scores.
Tiffany Taylor also recognized Hudson Page, a senior who committed to Abilene Christian University, and other players who earned All-State Honorable Mention through the Texas Sports Writers Association.
