Later in the meeting the board voted to table the ambulance disposal and replacement decision on a motion by Jacob Rayl, seconded by Wes Pourchot; roll call was 5 ayes, 0 nays. The meeting was adjourned at 6:44 p.m. on a motion by Rayl, seconded by Pourchot, also carried 5-0.
Follow-up tasks assigned at the meeting include the county clerk contacting the insurance company to determine whether buy-back of the totaled ambulance is an option and the vendor (Rural Med E.M.S.) providing pricing for chassis or new transit vans. The board will revisit the matter at its next session once insurer and vendor replies are received.
