The Knox County Board approved a $35,000 American Rescue Plan Act payout to Habitat for Humanity, representing the remainder of previously authorized funding. Vice Chair Brian Friedrich said the required documentation had been supplied and packet materials supported the payout; the motion passed on a unanimous roll call.
Separately, the board approved Payment Request #6 under the Mary Davis Home performance contract for $210,927.78. Member Robert Bondi said invoice and lien-release documentation were in the packet and that Member Samuel Cohen had reviewed them. The board carried the motion 14–0.
Board members characterized these actions as completion of previously authorized funding and payments tied to active projects; no new program approvals were requested in these votes.
