McCormick told the Board he scheduled a meeting with the ICC and the railroad next Tuesday and that he will set a public hearing after those discussions.
McCormick outlined four siting options for the project: build to the east, build to the west, build in the center, or do nothing. He said he hopes to secure funding adequate to cover a worst-case scenario.
