The Bond County Board opened the Oct. 1 meeting, approved the Sept. 17, 2024 minutes and approved bills listed on the Edit Reports dated Sept. 2 and Sept. 17, 2024. Motions for both items passed on 5-0 roll-call votes.
The Board approved the Sheriff's report for August 2024 and the Animal Control report for August 2024 on separate motions, each passing 5-0. Under new business, Commissioner Chris Timmermann asked Highway Engineer Mike McCormick about the pickup and service timing for a new highway truck; McCormick said it would be picked up next week and taken to Woody's when Woody's is ready. The meeting adjourned at 7:46 p.m. on a motion by Wes Pourchot, seconded by Chris Timmermann (roll call 5-0).
