County withdraws SEPA determination, will reissue after tribal notification

Thompson said a new SEPA determination would be issued the next morning and begin a 14-day comment period, with the comment period scheduled to close on Jan. 22.
Thompson clarified that withdrawing and reissuing the SEPA does not change the substance of the commission's earlier hearing or the commission's code recommendations; it restarts the SEPA procedural clock and allows for the required tribal and public comment. Members of the public asked about the omission; staff described it as an oversight and reiterated that the corrected SEPA would be posted on the county and SEPA registries.
